Industry Research Organisation (MIRO). MIRO distributes funding that
comes from a government tax on aggregates through its Mineral Industry
Sustainable Technology Programme.
The Mineral Products Association is the UK's leading trade association
for the UK aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete, dimension stone, lime, mortar and
silica sand industries.
We represent our member companies' interests on policy, planning and
technical matters with government departments, local authorities,
professional trade bodies and other key audiences at European, national
and local levels.
